Storing Tender™ Chicken Slab

  • Store product in freezer up to 6 months.

  • When ready to use, thaw overnight. Use within 5 days; do not refreeze.

Frying Tender™ Chicken Slab

  • Reheat to internal temperature of 165°F before consuming.

  • Non-stick Skillet:

  1. Cut Tender™ Chicken Slab into strips for tenders or cubes for popcorn chicken.

  2. Whisk together 1 cup flour, 2/3 cup cornstarch, 2 tsp. Kosher salt, 1 tsp. baking powder, and 1 tsp. garlic powder. Add 2 Tbsp. water; using your fingers, rub flour dredge and water together until shaggy pieces form.

  3. Dip Tender™ Chicken Slab pieces in beaten egg (or Just Egg egg vegan alternative), then into dredge, pressing firmly so shaggy pieces adhere.

  4. Heat 2 quarts vegetable oil in Dutch oven over medium-high heat to 375°F. Carefully add chicken; fry until golden brown, and internal temperature registers 165°F, about 5 mins. (Adjust heat as needed to maintain oil temperature.)

  5. Enjoy with dipping sauce; on salads, sandwiches, and more!
